So, like, the big cheese in Russia, Vladimir Putin, said he won’t whip out the nukes ’cause the Russian Army can totally handle business and finish what they started. But, ya know, he did drop a hint that he might bust out the nukes as a last resort. Chatting with some journalist dude on Russian TV, Putin spilled the tea that Ukraine was trying to get under Russia’s skin and make ’em slip up. Putin was all like, “They were trying to push our buttons, trying to trip us up. And we didn’t really need to bust out those weapons you mentioned. Hopefully, we won’t even have to go there.” Putin also mentioned, “We got all the tools and skills to wrap up what we kicked off in 2022 with the outcome that Russia needs.” But then in March, the Kremlin shot a warning over to Paris, saying Moscow might use nukes on France. This all went down ’cause the French President Emmanuel Macron was talking about Europe needing to gear up for a possible war since it seems like the US might be peacing out. Macron was all like, “Russia’s got no chill and Putin ain’t gonna stop at Ukraine. He’s a direct threat to Europe and France.” In a speech on TV late Wednesday night, Macron was like, “I’m hoping the US will have our back. But we gotta be ready in case they don’t.” Macron added, “I’m talking to you tonight ’cause of the whole global situation and how it’s gonna rock Europe… I know y’all are legit worried about all the crazy stuff happening in the world. Moscow clapped back, calling Macron’s speech “super confrontational,” and the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Paris is all about keeping the war going in Ukraine. Lavrov was like, “If he [Macron] sees us as a threat, gathers up the top dogs from the European countries and Britain, starts talking about using nukes, and preps to nuke Russia, well, that’s a threat for sure.”
